Lake Champlain Chocolates

Today, we went to Lake Champlain Chocolates factory tour.





















Soon I arrived there, I was excited of various kinds of beautiful chocolates in the show windows!



















In factory tour, I could know a lot of things about chocolates that I have never heard.

For example, white chocolates include less ingredient than others, and by adding stuffs, the color become deep brown and tastes bitter. Also, it was the first time to see a real cacao and it was larger than I thought.


I had a chance to eat 70% cacao chocolates for free, but it was little bitter for me.
However, all the chocolates I tried were really good taste and I wanted my family in Japan to try them.

  2. I am glad that you got to try various chocolate during our trip at Lake Champlain Chocolate factory. I think it is a unique brand, and we are lucky to be close to the "only" Lake Champlain Chocolate factory.

    Like you, I am always fascinated of how chocolate is actually created. I am glad that you learned the difference between white and dark chocolate! Which one do you like more?
